Common questions

  1. 01How do I sign in?

    Tap Sign in with Apple on the iOS app or at gobagplus.app/login. We don't support email/password — Sign in with Apple is the only login method, which is also why we collect almost nothing about you.
  2. 02How do I manage my subscription?

    On iOS: Settings app → Apple ID → Subscriptions → GoBagPlus. That's where you change plans, cancel, or restart. We don't (and can't) process payments ourselves — Apple handles all of that. See Subscription Terms.
  3. 03How do I cancel?

    iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → GoBagPlus → Cancel Subscription. You keep premium until the end of the current period. Cancelling at least 24 hours before renewal avoids the next charge.
  4. 04How do I get a refund?

    Apple handles refunds, not us. Submit a request at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's refund policy applies.
  5. 05How do I delete my account?

    iOS: Settings tab → Account section → Delete account. Or on the web at gobagplus.app/settings Danger zone. Both flows require typing DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm.

    Cancel any active subscription first (above) — Apple won't auto-refund a deleted account.

    Personal inventory data (Go Bag, Reserve) lives in your own iCloud — we never had access. Manage that in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage.
  6. 06Does the app really work offline?

    Yes. Once you've opened the Library while online, the catalogue + every reference card caches automatically. PDFs and videos work offline if you've downloaded a Go Disk bundle (USB-C drive) and connected it via the iOS Bundle Manager.
  7. 07How do I make a Go Disk?

    On the web: gobagplus.app/library/download → tick what you want → Download selected (or Download entire library). Unzip the resulting ZIP onto a USB-C drive. Plug into iPhone 15+ → open the GoBagPlus app → Library tab → tap the disk pill in the header → Connect a bundle → pick the gobagplus folder. Go Disk export is a Premium feature.
  8. 08Why does sign-in fail in the iOS Simulator?

    Sign in with Apple needs a real Apple ID configured in the simulator. Open the Simulator's Settings app → "Sign in to your iPhone" first. Or, in Debug builds, use Settings → Debug → Force premium to test the gated UI without auth.
  9. 09Is the library content really free to redistribute?

    Every item in the library shows its source and licence code. We only ship: public-domain government works (Ready.gov, CDC), Creative Commons (WHO, Wikimedia), Open Database License (OpenStreetMap), or original GoBagPlus content. We never ship anything we don't have the right to redistribute. See Terms for full detail.
  10. 10Can I suggest a topic for the library?

    Yes — email support@gobagplus.app with the topic and (if you know it) any official source we should base it on. We curate from licence-cleared sources and can't accept third-party copyrighted content.
  11. 11Do you sell my data?

    No. No analytics SDKs, no advertising trackers, no third-party data sharing. Read the full privacy policy for specifics on what we do collect (Apple ID, email, subscription IDs, reading progress) and where it lives (Supabase EU-West-1).
  12. 12I found a bug. What should I do?

    Email support@gobagplus.app. Useful things to include: iOS version, device model, what you were doing when it happened, and a screenshot if visual.
