Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the GoBagPlus iOS app and the website at www.gobagplus.app ("Service"). The Service is provided by QuikTipz Limited ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

GoBagPlus helps individuals and households track emergency-preparedness inventory and read curated reference content. It is a reference and tracking tool, not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or emergency-services advice. See our Medical Disclaimer.

2. Accounts

You may use parts of the Service as a guest. To save data across devices, sync inventory, or subscribe to Premium, you sign in with your Apple ID. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple ID secure.

3. Subscriptions

Premium features are available via auto-renewing subscription, billed by Apple. See our Subscription Terms for full pricing, free-trial, renewal, and cancellation details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Service except as permitted by law
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Premium content
  • Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share
  • Use the Service to interfere with anyone else's use of it (abuse, denial-of-service, scraping)
  • Misrepresent the licensing or attribution metadata that ships with each library item

5. Library content licensing

Each library item, video, and reference card carries a visible licence code and source attribution. Most content is one of:

  • U.S. Government Public Domain (Ready.gov, CDC) — freely redistributable
  • CC-BY-NC-SA-3.0-IGO (WHO) — attribution + non-commercial
  • CC-BY-SA-4.0 (Wikimedia) — attribution + share-alike
  • ODbL-1.0 (OpenStreetMap) — attribution required
  • GoBagPlus-Original — content we authored, free for personal use

You may use Premium content for personal preparedness within your household. Commercial redistribution requires permission from the original licence holder.

6. Your content

Files you upload to your private library remain your property. By uploading, you grant us a narrow, non-exclusive licence to store and serve them back to you (and to your family-shared subscription members where applicable).

7. Intellectual property

The GoBagPlus name, logos, and original content are owned by QuikTipz Limited. Third-party content remains the property of its licensors.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for outcomes resulting from following any reference content (medical, survival, technical). Always seek qualified professional help in real emergencies.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £100.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer protection law.

9. Termination

Either of us may end this agreement at any time. You can stop using the Service whenever you want; for paid subscriptions, manage cancellation in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or pose a risk to others.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app and on this page at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use means acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, except where local consumer protection law gives you stronger rights.
